Hey there.
I’m dead tired lately and that explains the poor activity / small will to write prefaces.
I’m literally sleeping 5 hours per day, studying a lot, taking trains over trains, drinking liters of coffee, attending university lessons, working, subbing and… have I already said I’m hella busy?
Well, that’s it.
Also, I’m listening to shoegaze music more than usual, and that’s one of the best things ATM.
Incidentally, do you remember Kinoko Teitoku? If you don’t, this post may help you doing so.
Today’s song is a pop/shoegaze little gem, and I’m willing to post more by them in the (near?) future. As well as other shoegaze bands. If only it was easier to find lyrics online by such amazing and yet so underrated bands… (I’m talking to you, Tokyo Shoegazer…)
By the way, enjoy this post, see you soon!

itsumo you ni eki e mukau
haru no hizashi machi o terasu
nichijou ni fureru zanzou
nando datte omoidaseru

I walk towards the station as always
As the Spring’s sunlight shines upon the city
But how many times do I have to remember
The afterimage this reality once touched?

kobushi ga chiru sore o miteru
hikari terasu toki ga tomaru
haru ga owaru sore ni kidzuku
kichi e tsudzuku azemichi de

I was looking at the Magnolia’s petals scattering around
As the light was bright, time has stopped moving;
Spring has ended, I just realized that
In this ricefield footpath I’m bound to

I hate you
I hate you
I hate you
I hate you
I hate you
I hate you

boku wa hitotsu dake uso o tsuku
I hate you
kimi ni hitotsu dake uso o tsuku
I hate you
I hate you
te o tsunaida azemichi de
I hate you
ano hi no boku ga kimi ni tsugeru
I hate you
I hate you

I just told a single lie
I hate you
I only told you a single lie
I hate you
I hate you
On this ricefield path where we held our hands
I hate you
Myself from that time will let you know
I hate you
I hate you

kobushi ga chiru sore o miteru
hikari terasu toki ga tomaru
haru ga owaru sore ni kidzuku

I hate you

I just told a single lie
I hate you
I only told you a single lie
I hate you
I hate you
On this ricefield path where we held our hands
I hate you
Myself from that time is touching you
I hate you
I hate you

About foregroundnoises

I love music more than everything; I'm also a (shamefully mediocre) bass player and wannabe composer / writer (only in my dreams). Also interested in astronomy, traveling, theatre, literature, poetry, art, movies, mostly everything from Japan and other stuff. I'm also okay with anime stuff as long as I don't have to deal with weeaboos. Touhou project? Love it! Gaki no Tsukai? Love it! Foreground Eclipse? Of course I love them! I'm an university student, I study japanese since years for unknown reasons and I managed to get a degree on japanese language & culture (currently 進学中). I'm italian, but I can (almost) perfectly understand english.
